Loki has just finished its run, and fans are delighted with what they have got from Marvel Studios. Till now, Marvel has released 3 Disney+ series, and they all have exceeded the viewership expectations of Disney. But this is only the beginning of Marvel’s Phase 4 and also their takeover of the streaming sphere. Next up is Marvel’s What If…? animated series that will explore the alternate universes present in the MCU.

Also, it comes right on time after Loki introduced the multiverse concept. But that’s not all for this year. Ms. Marvel and Hawkeye will also stream in 2021, and expectations are high for Hawkeye after the post-credits scene of Black Widow.

After these, 2022 will bring a Marvel show that has been rumored to be different from anything Marvel has done before. This show is She-Hulk, and it will be a half-hour legal comedy about a lawyer turned Gamma-radiated beast. If that doesn’t intrigue you, then the fact that there will be a lot of fourth-wall-breaking will surely interest you.

However, we don’t know much about the plot of the show beyond this, and the fact that the show will feature multiple villains, and also that there will possibly be a villain-of-the-week scenario. But thankfully, Jameela Jamil, who is reportedly playing She-Hulk villain Titania, has news to tide us over this drought.

She revealed a video of herself on social media that confirmed that she was preparing for the role.

On her Instagram page, the She-Hulk actress released a fun video where she is training with the music of “Eye of the Tiger” playing in the background. On-screen there’s a text announcing her MCU arrival. The text reads:

“I can’t believe I get to say this but… Fighting my way through the MCU, coming to you in 2022! #SheHulk #AnythingIsPossibleKids”

Jameela Jamil’s official announcement comes after it was reported that she will be playing the She-Hulk villain Titania in the show. By now everyone knows who she is playing, but it looks like Marvel is holding her back from confirming the role. This isn’t new since Florence Pugh, who plays Yelena Belova in the Black Widow movie, also said that Marvel didn’t allow her to confirm her role in the film before its release.

But it looks like Jameela is just dying to confirm the role, and it looks like the marvel team finally gave her the green light to at least confirm that she is in the She-Hulk show. In the video, she can be seen training for a fight sequence. So fans should expect that they will get to see her character fighting the protagonist of the show- She-Hulk.

Right now, there’s no release date for She-Hulk, but as per Jamil’s video, it’s confirmed to drop anytime in 2022. In fact, we think that it will probably be the first show to air next year if things move as per schedule for the MCU.
