Jennifer Aniston, one of Hollywood’s highest-paid actresses, made a big mistake with her first Friends paycheck. Instead of saving it or investing it wisely, she bought a vintage cream-colored Mercedes-Benz 280SL that had been sitting with a for sale sign on it for almost two years.

According to Aniston, she frequently saw the car while driving through Melrose in Los Angeles, and she eventually paid the $13,000 asking price for the vehicle. However, the car turned out to be a lemon, and it never drove again after she got it off the lot. Aniston blamed herself for the mistake, saying that she lacked the experience of shopping for used cars.

Despite the lemon, Aniston remained silent about whether or not she still kept the car. However, if she did, it might be worth some repairs. Looking back at her purchase, Aniston called it a “nice 25-year-old mistake.”
