Catching up on the latest news, we have a new casting related to the Star Wars: Acolyte series, which fans have been awaiting since its announcement as it will supposedly be jumping back to the golden period of Jedi and is more of a Sith origin story, which will also be darker.
Jodie Turner-Smith is in talks for one of the cast members in Star Wars: Acolyte, a series that was revealed to be a Sith-focused one, nothing much is known about the series as of yet, not even release date and casting rumors except Amandla Stenberg, hunger games fame roped in as the main protagonist and Lee Jung-Jae, squid games lead protagonist cast as the Male lead. The role of Jodie Turner-Smith is yet to be revealed as her role in the series is still being considered
The mystery and thriller series is supposed to take place 100 years before the events of Star Wars 1, with the fame of Russian Doll co-creator Leslye Headland as Acolyte’s Director, Writer, and Showrunner.
This series has a lot of hype revolving around it, even when we only have minuscule information and rumors about it. Fans will certainly be happy with the casting announcements going around and the kind of story the Star Wars universe is aiming for.
