While it’s not as high in standards as Chanel, Kristen Stewart’s Alessandra Rich latest yellow matching set fashions some exceptional detailing. The set almost reminds us of the actress’s go-to labels. The photo made it to Instagram through the profile of her stylist, Tara Swennen. In the picture, Kristen Stewart wore a long, high-waisted yellow-and-white striped skirt with a matching long-sleeved crop top.
The dress is precise and delicate and it overflows with elegance. Given the style of its skin-baring crop top, the set is less racy, and the credit goes to the classic white trim on the pieces and the business meeting-ready pinstripes. The set features faux pockets and bold buttons, giving the look a very Chanel-esque touch.
But Rich has stayed true to the coming-of-age fashion with its off-the-shoulder cut and modern midi length. Kristen Stewart is known to pick Chanel for most of her red carpet appearances. But recently, Stewart (and Swennen) are exploring the fashion domain by trying out a few other brands. The two also fabricated some lower-priced pieces into the Spencer press tour.
“Adventures in #SanFran #kristenstewart in #alessandrarich and #christianlouboutin,” Swennen wrote alongside the images.
With that said, for the Academy Awards coming up next weekend, Kristen Stewart might choose to go back to Chanel. The actress is nominated for the Best Actress Oscar, which is nothing short of a dream come true for her. Stewart opened about her inability to accept the fact with Jimmy Kimmel. She said that while she was in disbelief with the recognition, her parents were totally chill.
“My dad had a really normal reaction. He was just like, ‘Oh, so proud of you, honey! Of course the boom, my kid,’ which is ridiculous. I’m like, ‘Dad, you take all the credit for this. You deserve it, honey.’ And then my mom was like — it was very early in the morning, I hit her up. She was really the one who kick-started this for me. I was a really shy kid and was like, ‘I think I want to try to act and maybe get headshots. They’re $3,000, someone at school told me about it, can you please hook me up?'” Stewart explained.
“And she was like invested in me, looked at me in the rearview mirror of F-150 and was like, ‘Are you going to make good on this? Are you going to pay me back?’ And I was like, ‘Yes,’ because when I was a kid, I was really confident. That’s what happens, you get older and you’re like … ” She didn’t quite finish, sticking her tongue out, instead. Signature KStew.
