Leak From Moon Knight Set Shows The Marvel Character In Action

After WandaVision, Loki, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s success, Marvel is all ready to present the next slate of its Disney+ shows to show off its Phase 4.

One of the new titles that will be gracing Disney+ soon is Moon Knight. The series will feature Oscar Issac of Star Wars fame as the titular hero. Isaac will star with Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy in key roles. Filming for the show is in full swing in Budapest, Hungary.

What Is Moon Knight About?

Right now, we don’t know anything about the plot of the show. It has been said that the action-adventure show will follow a hero suffering from a dissociative identity disorder.

In Marvel comics, Moon Knight has heightened martial arts as well as combat skills. It has been said that the show will have an Indiana Jones vibe to it, and that is definitely a good sign for those who love thrilling action scenes.

Werewolf by Night aka Jack Russell

Not to mention that the show is also expected to go into the supernatural territory by excluding the history and mythology of Ancient Egyptian gods. Also, it has been rumored that Werewolf by Night will be in the show.

Overall, It will be unlike anything seen in the MCU before. Star Oscar Issac had said that Moon Knight is going to be a wild show, and thankfully we can finally get a glimpse of that wildness thanks to a set leak video.

First Set Video From Moon Knight Shows Marvel Hero In Action

Moon Knight in Marvel comics

A video taken from the Moon Knight production at Budapest (via @tibor.proart on Instagram) shows just one of the surely multiple epic stunts that audiences can expect from the show.

In the clip, a person in costume can be seen flying and jumping through the air. It needs to be said that the costume looks very similar to the one worn by Moon Knight from the comics. So it can be the very first look at the Marvel star in action.

Check out the video below:

Feige has described the character as someone who “jumps out of buildings and gets into fights.” Now, this does line up with what’s going on in the video.

It looks like Moon Knight is all set to usher in a new era of finesse in terms of stunts and action for an MCU project. After all, the series has hired the stunt coordinator of James Bond’s No Time To Die. Also, Oscar Issac is training hard for the role.

If this small stunt from the Moon Knight sets is any indication, then MCU fans are in for a wild action-packed ride in 2022.
