Loki Makes Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man Returns a Real Possibility

Loki, an American television series based on Marvel Comics, created by Michael Waldron and is set to stream on Disney+. The story is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it embarks on an adventure as the continuity of the franchise of the film, Avengers: Endgame, it takes places after the events of the film. God of Mischief Loki Laufeyson, the mercurial villain was the brother of Thor and was raised by an Asgardian prince.

A new perspective on the past and future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been given to fans by the new Loki series. In the first episode, it was seen that the Time Variance Authority was created due to the multiversal war by the Time-Keepers.

The “Space Lizards” deemed to branch off the timelines so TVA was formed with the objective to sustain the flow of the time. Based on the logic on which the Avengers: Endgame is set up, this esteemed flow of time has created some confusion and also questioned everyone’s free will.

When Sophia DiMartino reprised as Lady Loki, changes the game completely by disclosing herself and sending a timeline into a frenzy. On the Temped, the branches were moving rapidly specifying that the multiverse may break out sooner than anybody has ever predicted.

This aspect of time indicates that it directly relates to the multiverse. Audiences are in suspense, whether the scare timeline will fall apart or not. There was a scene in episode 2 of the series, “The Variant” that may point towards a future Marvel project.

At the beginning of the 2nd episode, it was seen that something was causing trouble within the timeline and the TVA agents had gathered to discuss it. Different Loki variants were present at Mobius’s presentation and it specifies that probably they will not resemble Tom Hiddleston. The Variants appeared to be human and came in all size and shapes, not bound to gender, leading to the unanticipated and awaited arrival of Lady Loki.

Loki Episode 2 Scene

What may have been unimaginable is the return of Spider-Men Tobey Maguire and Andrew  Garfield, as their respective portrayals of Peter Parker. If all the rumours are to be believed about Tom Holland’s spidey flick, it turns out that the dreams of the Spider-Man fans’ may come true. Spider-Man: No way home, is set to be premiered on December 17th of this year,  and has become one of the most speculated and anticipated movies of this year. The presence of multiversal elements in the film has sparked speculation that Andre Garfield and Tobey Maguire will come back.

At this stage, it can only be reckoned that Alfred Molina could be back at Doc Ock, Jamie  Foxx will return as Electro, a key role could be played by Benedict Cumberbatch’s Stephen  Strange. Nevertheless, the fact that some more villains can also return for this crossover event such as Sandman, Rhino, Green Goblin, and the Lizard.

Well, these are the assumptions and for the sake of discussion, it can be considered accurate. Besides this, it is absolutely possible that Spider-Man could look like Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. There could be various Peter Parker across the universe, and Mobius’ explanation of plenty of Loki’s explains the same.

This could specify that why three Spider-Men named Peter Parker, have non-identical body types, different identities, and facial features, in fact, all the friends and family members were different in their separate universe besides J.Jonah Jameson and J.K Simmons. Well, there may be no gentle way to clarify this, but the utmost variation in Loki could help fans realize why these characters are non-identical across the multiverse, it can be said that the folks will just have to play along.

As yet only Nexus Event has been confirmed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but it can be anticipated that it is a matter of time before a Nexus Being is rationalized. It is to be noted that Nexus Beings like Kang the Conqueror and Scarlet Witch wouldn’t have these variants. WandaVision and Kevin Feige seems to be setting up a story of four parts, starting with WandaVision, Loki, and ending with Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness.

The multiverse is boundless and to have it pull together Loki is setting it up perfectly for  Spider-Man and Doctor Strange. It can be anticipated that Loki variants aren’t the only knot that connects to Spider-Man, it would be more transparent when it premiers in the theatres on December 17th, 2021. It is obvious that the show is finally revealing the layers on how the Marvel Multiverse operates. Whatsoever, episode 2 of Loki definitely showed us the occurrences that will lead to the spilling of different universe into one another.
