Tom Hiddleston’s Loki was released in the summer of 2021. It has paved the path for the MCU multiverse to appear on the big screen. God Of Mischief has finally got his first solo film in the franchise. The six-episode narrative set up the stage for some of the MCU’s most ambitious projects. Loki was an instant hit, because of Hiddleston’s anti-hero in a time-jumping extravaganza alongside the Time Variance Authority.

Marvel had been planning on expanding the MCU through Disney+ for a long time, and Loki is their first step. He appeared in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness. Now, Thor’s mischievous brother is coming back again with Loki: Season 2. There’s no doubt that fans are up for another big adventure.

When the MCU last left Hiddleston’s beloved character with Owen Wilson’s Mobius and Wunmi Mosaku’s Hunter B-15 in the TVA, they were in chaos. In the meantime, Sylvie caused the Multiverse to go haywire when she killed Jonathan Majors’ He Who Remains and placed a statue of the powerful villain in the reopened TVA headquarters. Even with these little details from season 1, it will take some time until fans actually see Loki in Season 2.

The MCU has planned to revolutionize the narrative with the multiverse plot. This is going to keep the MCU busy for a couple of years. There are many variables that could have their place in season 2. Loki’s next solo journey is bustling with mysteries as Tom Hiddleston appears in 2022’s Doctor Strange sequel and Jonathan Majors takes on the role of Kang the Conqueror in 2023’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

As previously mentioned, the filming will take place in London. It puts the next question, when will season 2 air? It will take between 6 to 12 months for the shooting to complete. It’s best to set the release date as early as mid-2023 with a quick turnaround. Depending on how Kang’s story plays out in Ant-Man 3 and other projects dealing with the Multiverse, it‘s impossible to predict when more mischief will be unleashed on the audience.

Even if the release is not in sight yet, fans are already on their toes to see the god of mischief in all his glory once again, as filming will begin in a few months.
