Madame Web is a character with a connection to every spider-powered hero. She is also linked to the multiverse and has the power to travel through dimensions. Her character will debut on our screens with Sony’s Madame Web, led by Dakota Johnson along with Sydney Sweeney. It will be directed by S.J Clarkson and will most likely release on 6th October 2023.

Photos from the sets of Madame Web were leaked. They have given us quite a lot of information to speculate on. So let’s dive into it.

Spider-Man’s appearance is a possibility

One of the set photos shows Spider-Man’s famous hangout – The 4-Star Diner. Peter Parker and his friends used to meet up and hang out there during their college days. The diner was also seen in the 30th issue of Amazing Spider-Man Vol.2.

There have been abundant fan theories about the appearance of Spider-Man till now. However, there was not much evidence to support it previously. But with this photo, the rumors are spreading like wildfire and have been bolstered further.

There have been speculations claiming that this set photo is confirmation of the appearance of Peter Parker in Madame Web even if it is just a cameo of sorts. We still don’t have any guarantee but one can hope. On the other hand the 4 Star Diner might just be there as fan service for all the Spidey fans out there. The cast might grab a meal at the Diner as an ode to The Amazing Spider-Man comics.

Daily Bugle makes an appearance

Another photo from the set shows the infamous Daily Bugle run by none other than J. Jonah Jameson. This brings the movie and the setting close to Spider-Man’s life and his reality. The Daily Bugle van is seen right in front of the 4-Star Diner. As it turns out the van also has a web address on it – www.thedailybugle.com. This isn’t just some random address. There is an actual website that’s been created for fans. You can go check it out! It currently showcases a picture of Spider-Man battling the Green Goblin with the Daily Bugle building in the backdrop. Although, it is interesting to note that the logo of the Daily Bugle on the van is not the same as that shown in Venom: Let there be Carnage or the Spider-Man films.

There have also been rumors about introducing other Parker family members. A younger Uncle Ben may make an appearance. We might also get to see Peter Parker’s mother and a little baby Peter Parker too. Ben Parker might even be the one eating at the 4-Star Diner.

Madame Web 

Cassandra Webb more popularly known as Madame web was born blind and suffered from a neurological condition known as Myasthenia gravis. Due to this she also developed powerful psychic abilities. She is also a mutant. The Amazing Spider-Man comic No. 210 was the first to feature her. Over time she has had interactions with several superheroes such as Spider-Man, Spider-Woman, Jessica Jones and Julia Carpenter who became the second Spider-Man. She was also a part of Deadpool Roasts the Marvel Universe. Her powers include telepathy, clairvoyance, astral projection and her ability to see certain aspects of the future.

The movie will be a women-led spin-off. Other than Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney it will also include Emma Roberts, Isabela Merced, Celeste O’Connor, Zosia Mamet and Adam Scott.
