Madonna’s fans erupted when she appeared to strip down to tiny underwear for a throwback video.

The 63-year-old singer comes close to the camera in a black lace bra and underwear, complete with matching stockings, as she fumbles on top of a scantily clothed man in the Instagram video. Her huge cleavage and gorgeous curves are on full display in the black and white film.

The clip is from her music video for “Justify My Love,” released 25 years ago this month. However, the music in the clip has been replaced with a song from the soundtrack of W.E., Madonna’s 2011 romantic drama film written and produced by her.

She captioned the video as follows: “I’m nostalgic for music videos that were like short films, for writing poetry, for working with brilliant directors like Mondino, and for taking risks. A completely new Art Form. #musicfromw.e.soundtrack #justifymylove”
Fans were quick to express their appreciation for the archival film.

One person stated: “This is fantastic! Mashup of one of the best film soundtracks of all time for W.E. and the iconic Justify My Love! I’m in a happy place.” “What’s keeping you from showing how it’s done, Queen?” chimed another. Other admirers urged the singer to continue releasing content with a similar concept. One person pleaded: “So, Mumma, please provide us with fresh songs and a visual album. It’s finally time.” “It’s time to do it again, queen,” a second fan added.

At its release, the provocative music video for Justify My Love stirred controversy. Madonna initially offered the video to MTV, but it was rejected because it was simply too sexual. The fallout generated publicity, which propelled the track to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, where it remained for two weeks.

The video was later released on VHS as a single for slightly under £10 (£7.50). Over a million tapes of the raucous production were purchased.
