Several major Scarlet Witch Phase 4 theories are corroborated by the Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness trailer. When it comes to the second trailer, there’s more of Wanda Maximoff, both dressed as the Scarlet Witch and without. This is also where Stephen Strange seeks her out to help him fight a multiverse menace. A few key details from the Doctor Strange 2 trailer, including Wanda’s remarks, suggest that she may not be as helpful as Dr. Strange hopes.

Wanda’s comic book and MCU stories have been plagued by the loss of loved ones. She sacrificed her own happiness once again to free the people of Westview in WandaVision’s miniseries. This highlights the many sacrifices she has made in her life. Despite WandaVision’s bad decisions, Wanda was not the show’s villain because she had no idea how Westview’s illusions were created and decided to give them up, even though it meant losing Vision and her children. Despite the fact that she made the heroic decision at the time, some fans have questioned whether or not she would one day go down the path of evil.

Scarlet Witch As A Villain In Doctor Strange 2

Scarlet Witch’s Villain Twist

Scarlet Witch appears to be a villain in the new Doctor Strange 2 trailer. Wanda apologizes profusely to Doctor Strange for her actions in WandaVision in the first trailer. This is when the two meet on a cherry blossom farm. Both the farm and her sorrowful demeanor, on the other hand, maybe a figment of her imagination. This trailer shows Scarlet Witch facing Strange in the same outfit as on the farm, with trees that had previously been alive turning into decayed husks.

A version of Wanda sipped tea outside a remote cabin while the Scarlet Witch was studying the Darkhold, assumedly to learn more about the multiverse and how she might get her kids back. WandaVision has already demonstrated Wanda’s ability to produce powerful illusions. By the time Doctor Strange 2 takes place, presenting a fabricated version of herself to hide her true intentions would have become second nature.

Time To Bid Goodbye to Scarlet Witch- Phase 4’s Hero

Doctor Strange hears her say this in the trailer: “You break the rules and become a hero. I do it, I become the enemy. That doesn’t seem fair”. When compared to the other Avengers, Wanda’s heartbreak has been underplayed in the movies, especially in comparison to some of the others’. After being refused permission to bury Vision’s body, WandaVision left her to deal with her grief all alone in a secluded cemetery.

Consequently, Doctor Strange 2’s second trailer shows Wanda comforting a grieving Scarlet Witch in Westview. Only Wanda is prepared to stand up for her own self-interest in this situation. There comes a point in everyone’s life when they can no longer take any more pain. And Wanda has taken on more pain than most people will ever experience in their entire lives. Her posture has changed as if she’s ready to fight.

It’s possible that Scarlet Witch will become a villain in the sequel’s trailer because of its appearance. If Wanda Maximoff is done losing, she may decide to start taking what she wants. Scarlet Witch may no longer be a hero in the MCU’s Phase 4. This is due to the large cast of characters and the limited plot details that are seen thus far. However, that doesn’t mean she won’t be a villain.
