Pedro Pascal is Din Djarin/Mando in The Mandalorian, and it looks like he is ecstatic to be back in The Book of Boba Fett. The Mandalorian spin-off show premiered in December 2021, and from the beginning, there were rumors about Mando’s appearance in the show.
Finally, he showed up in episode 5 of the show titled “Chapter 5: Return of the Mandalorian,” after a tease set up in the previous episode. The episode opened with Din Djarin killing Klatooinians in a room and collecting a bounty.
We got to see his story till he reunited with the assassin Fennec Shand at the end. Fans were over the moon at his return and Pedro Pascal too took part in that joy.
The Mandalorian actor went on Twitter to celebrate the return of Din Djarin to the MandoVerse and the Star Wars universe. Pascal retweeted a clip featuring his character’s return and added the term “Wizard.”
Star Wars fans will know that it’s a reference to young Anakin Skywalker in The Phantom Menace. You can see the tweet below:

Pascal’s tweet shows how happy the actor is, and it also depicts the fan service of episode 5 of The Book of Boba Fett. The “Wizard” phrase just ties it all together.
After all, the sequence of Din and his ship is almost similar to the one of young Anakin in the podracing part of The Phantom Menace.
This tweet solidifies the fact that Djarin is a part of The Book of Boba Fett, and will stay so for a while (at least if the ending of episode 5 indicates so).
As said before, fans are ecstatic to see Pascal’s Din Djarin on the show. It can’t be denied that his appearance has been a shot in the arm for The Book of Boba Fett which was met with harsh reviews by fans.
Many fans of the show tried to say that the pace of the show is similar to the slow pace of season 1 of The Mandalorian. However, since then Grogu, Din Djarin, and the Disney+ show as a whole have become a part of pop culture.
But The Book of Boba Fett hasn’t continued that success story. So viewers are happy to see Mando again. And they are also probably relieved that the show looks to have shown signs of life again.
Bryce Dallas Howard’s direction along with the incorporation of Easter eggs did help with the positive reception as well.
But it can’t be denied that Pascal’s appearance as well as the tantalizing prospect of him appearing in more episodes, did help the show gain better footing. Also, it will help the series end better than it began.
