The Gallery episode will also reveal the CGI and digital ways Hamill contributed to Luke’s final appearance in the finale. As such, altogether it should be really fascinating to see how the episode came together.
Since fans thought that they had seen the last of Hamill in Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker, so his surprise cameo appearance in The Mandalorian generated a lot of excitement.
However, it’s not yet known whether he will ever return again. But Grogu left with Luke at the end of the season 2 finale to complete his Jedi training, so it’s not totally out of the question. Right now, The Mandalorian has begun production of season 3. And it is slated for a Spring 2022 release.
The Disney+ Gallery episode will arrive on August 25. And it will unveil all the secrets of the season 2 finale episode. Be sure to check that out.
