After suffering severe injuries in a snow ploughing accident, actor Jeremy Renner underwent two surgeries in a Nevada hospital. The Marvel star is said to be “awake, stable, and conversing,” and the surgeries were part of his hard process of recovery.

According to many sources, veteran Marvel actor Jeremy Renner is in “serious but stable” condition following a weather-related accident while clearing snow.

Renner’s family has verified that he is with them and that he is “getting excellent care.”

Renner hit the headlines at the very beginning of 2023. On New Year’s Eve, the Hawkeye star was helping to clear snow after a massive snowstorm slammed the Northern Nevada area when a piece of ploughing gear drove over his leg.

Details have been limited since that original report, as a local Nevada police inquiry into what occurred with the truck continues.

The actor, 51, was a quarter-mile from his Lake Tahoe house when the big piece of equipment flipped on him, rolling over his leg and causing serious injuries.

Following the actor’s operation, his managers said Renner “suffered traumatic chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries” and “remains in the intensive care unit in a critical but stable condition.”

Jeremy’s family would like to thank the incredible doctors and staff who are caring for him, as well as Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, the Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve, and the Carano and Murdock families. They are also overwhelmed and grateful for the overflow of love and encouragement from his fans.

According to reports, Renner had “severe” injuries and was losing a significant amount of blood when a neighbour, who also happened to be a doctor, assisted Renner by applying a tourniquet to his leg until authorities airlifted the actor to the hospital.

The scene of the accident is being investigated as a live crime scene. Renner has previously released footage of himself using the Snowcat online, and the equipment has numerous safety mechanisms that should have prevented it from rolling over Renner.
