After taking their time with the fiasco with the blade movie, Marvel has finally decided to speak that they will be postponing a few of their movie’s release dates for a fluid release order for the timeline.

The movies getting postponed are

1)Blade Movie

After having problems with the script as well as the director, Marvel finally broke the silence and revealed that this movie will now be postponed to a later release date of September 6, 2024. Although this does cause a few setbacks to the timeline of the movie, Mahershala Ali will now have more freedom in the production values as well and will 100% be a part of the film.

2) Deadpool 3

After finally getting an official video by Ryan Reynolds, the actor who portrays the comedic mercenary character Deadpool, of the release date of this film as well as of the news that we are getting our fan favorite Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine back in this film. This movie is now pushed a further back to November 8, 2024, to catch up to the delay in the production values for Blade.

3)Fantastic Four

The next movie which will be receiving the postponement treatment is the fantastic four movies, which is now slated for a February 14, 2025 release date. This film was supposed to kickstart Phase 6 of The MCU, which may not be the first Phase 6 movie, now that Blade Movie will also be released in Phase 6.

4) Avengers: Secret Wars

Avengers: Secret Wars which was supposedly gonna be released back to back with Kang Dynasty over a few months, was supposed to be the last Phase 6 project, and the movie which was gonna close to the multiverse saga in The MCU, will now to be delayed to a later date of May 1, 2026.

It can be safely assumed that all of these movie delays have been done with keeping in mind the fiasco for the Blade movie and to take into count the time delay caused by the setbacks for the movie, Marvel has shifted these release dates for better positioning of the Phase 6 movies.
