Marvel’s release of the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania video comes as little surprise given the impending release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In the Quantumania official trailer, the Ants are shown entering the quantum realm again, but not of their own will. Instead, they are sucked into the quantum realm by a contraption that Cassie Lang, who has been tinkering with her scientific gadgets, has constructed.

Once Scott and his family enter the quantum realm, they discover a weird space metropolis controlled by Bill Murray. Once there, they run upon Kang the Conqueror, who seems to be in need of Ant-Man’s services. It’s an unexpected turn of events. From what we can tell from the teaser for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Scott Lang, and Hope Van Dyne will be covering a lot of territory in their third Marvel Cinematic Universe outing.

What Is The Quantumania Official Trailer About?

For Ant-Man, this is a welcome change of pace, given the previous two films were essentially treated as standalone inside the MCU, with the larger narrative developments occurring in other superhero films. As a matter of fact, this has been noted several times, with Lang often remarking that he is the superhero that nobody remembers. That seems to be about to change, however.

The trailer is unusually somber for an Ant-Man movie, and the surreal graphics make it seem like something from Guardians of the Galaxy. It’s important to note that this trailer is vastly different from the preview presented at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year, in which Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang had a much larger part, and there was much less Kang. It seems that more of the visual effects are complete, which explains the new footage.

Fans have high hopes for Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since many feel the previous phase lacked concentration and the vast majority of its entries lacked any discernible continuity. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’s criticism of the “Marvel formula” for filmmaking might be a clue that mega-producer Kevin Feige wants the next films and TV shows to have a more individual style.

Ant-Man 3 Release Date

Quantumania’s release date has moved about the MCU calendar many times since the end of the Infinity Saga, much like the dates of most other Marvel Studios films. This early 2023 date was initially planned for 2022. The worldwide premiere of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has been set on February 17, 2023.
