Loki also examines the deeper meaning of the phrase, comparing it to “a ritual” the Avengers “cling to” when facing “inevitable ruin.” This shows that Loki sees himself as a true component of the Avengers, which is a significant turnaround from his glory days of trying to exterminate these very same heroes.

With the knowledge that Loki has about He Who Remains, the TVA, and the unraveling of the Multiverse, he may be the key to stopping Kang the Conqueror in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
