If you were hoping to play more Marvel games, your prayers areheard. The company has teamed up with EA to publish three video games of the action-adventure genre. Read on to find out more details!

More Marvel Games Coming From EA! 

Bloomberg reports that the deal will include the already-announced Iron Man video game. It’s further reported that all three of the games will arrive on PC and consoles, and that they will be developed by EA Motive. Further details are sparse and will be revealed further on, but the Iron Man game is rumoured to be standalone with a new adventure of the character.

Apparently, Motive’s upcoming Iron Man title has already entered its playtesting phase. Insider Gaming reports that certain testers will be playing the game as soon as this week, and they will offer feedback to the devs on the plot and mechanics of the game.

It hasn’t been revealed whether each game will be a standalone story or will it be all part of the same universe, similar to what Activision did with its Spiderman games.

EA Grabbing IPs After Slowdown In Sales

EA is most famously known for publishing Battlefield and FIFA games. But it looks like the gaming giant is planning on expanding its portfolio. CEO of EA, Laura Miele said:

“We have an intentional, deliberate strategy to have a balanced portfolio. There will be Marvel fans who don’t play other EA games.”

EA is betting on IP games as the publisher witnessed a gradual slowdown in gaming demand for its titles from peaks attained during the Covid pandemic.

What Are The Three Games Marvel And EA Are Planning To Publish? 

No details have been reported regarding the characters who will get their own games. But along with Iron Man, other Marvel characters who had hit movies may be chosen. So Captain America, Thor, Hulk, etc. are probably bring considered.
