Jonathan Majors, who plays Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, was recently arrested for allegedly assaulting his then-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. According to a new report by the New York Post, Jabbari was once employed by Marvel as a “Movement Coach” for the upcoming movie.
New Evidence In Majors’ Case
The New York Post report also includes images of Jabbari partying and appearing uninjured after the alleged assault. However, the security footage provided is not clear enough to show the details of the incident. Majors’ lawyer has also claimed that the actor received 32 calls from Jabbari after the incident, including an alleged threat of suicide. According to the report, a new video footage features officers “clearly coaching her to say that Mr. Majors grabbed her by the throat.”
Majors’ Future In The MCU
Despite the ongoing controversy, Marvel and Disney have not made any announcements regarding Majors’ future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The character of Kang is set to appear in the upcoming Avengers 5, titled “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.” If Majors’ role is recast, it would require a complete transition. However, Deadline reports that there have been no discussions of recasting the role at this time.
