The latest She-Hulk episode titled ‘Ribbit and Rip it’ was finally the episode all fans have been waiting for. Charlie Cox’s Daredevil (aka Matt Murdoch) finally making his cameo in the MCU. Along with that, there were even many more revelations that were made in the episode. Let us look at them one by one.

She Hulk’s new costume

I wanna see the super suit that Luke made you. – Nikki to Jennifer

Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) finally appeared donning her superhero suit in the episode. The suit appeared to have been drawing its inspiration from various costumes that the character had worn in the comics. This suit is a mix of all of them.

For all the different types of costumes that She-Hulk had worn in comics, read our coverage here. The suit designed by her designer – Luke Jacobson, appears to be well-suited for combat as well as her continuous transformations between Jen and She-Hulk.

It is very daring to use ketchup and mustard as your color scheme. – She-Hulk to Daredevil
Not even She-Hulk, but Daredevil also appeared in his new avatar in the episode. Charlie Cox had earlier made waves with his dark, gloomy, and tragic take on the character in the Netflix series. However, after a hugely successful run of the series in its 3 seasons, Netflix suddenly canceled the show. Thereafter, Cox’s Matt appeared in Spiderman: No Way Home in a short cameo. It was clear that now Marvel will take a fresh route for this new interpretation of the character. And now Daredevil finally appeared in She-Hulk in all his glory.
Daredevil was wearing a brand new suit with his iconic comic-accurate red and yellow costume. She-Hulk even made fun of the color scheme of his suit. This mustard and ketchup suit actually harks back to the character’s original design from his comics debut in 1964, when writer Stan Lee and artist Bill Everett put their new hero in a yellow and dark red costume made from his father’s boxing robes. If one hears closely, Netflix’s Daredevil theme can be heard in the background (after around the 16th-minute mark). This Daredevil also appeared more joyful, playful, humorous, and even very swift in bis action movies as opposed to that of Netflix. Now fans are very eager to see him in his first upcoming Marvel solo series – Daredevil: Born Again.

Red-Hulk tease

This is the big twist, isn’t it? But the question is, is it the kind of twist that’s like, “There’s another Hulk, but this one’s red…” – Jennifer Walters to audience

While at the end of the episode, Jennifer Walters turns to the audience (in her classic fourth-wall-breaking attempt) and asks the audience what kind of twist were they expecting. Were they expecting the appearance of ‘another hulk – but this one’s red’? As we know, Jennifer’s ex-boyfriend Josh had extracted her blood on the pretense of dating her. He did it on the order of Intelligencia’s head who called himself ‘Hulk-King’.

It is also known that Marvel is developing two major movie projects – Thunderbolts and Captain America: New World Order. If rumors are to be believed then Hulk and She-Hulk are going to be the prime players in these movies. If that is true, then sooner or later we might get a glimpse of Marvel’s own version of Red-Hulk or Red She-Hulk. Some reports even are claiming that Marvel is eyeing the legendary actor Harrison Ford to play the role of General Thunderbolt Ross aka Red Hulk in the MCU. ‘How and when’ remains to be seen.

Sokovia Accords no more

Sokovia Accords in Captain America Civil War

May I remind you that the Sokovia Accords have been repealed. – Matt Murdoch

While She-Hulk was being recruited into GLK&H, she was told that the number of enhanced individuals or superheroes have been increasing every day. However, if Sokovia Accords, which was introduced back in Captain America: Civil War (2016), were still in effect then all the superheroes would have to register themselves with the government. The Sokovia Accords is a set of legal documents designed to control and regulate the activities of enhanced individuals, including members of government agencies such as S.H.I.E.L.D. or private organizations such as the Avengers. It resulted in a long-lasting rift between the Avengers, breaking only after Thanos’s blip.

However, in the episode, Matt Murdoch states that Sokovia Accords have now been revoked. This presumably must have happened after Thanos’s snap when half of the world’s population disappeared for five years. This is a huge bomb for Marvel’s story plot. Why the Marvel team decided to reveal it in an episode of a Disney+ show, is totally unknown. But, one thing is clear – now in the MCU, the superheroes can operate at their will and are even free to keep their identities a secret.

Do you want to see who She-Hulk really is? This is the truth presented by Intelligencia. She-Hulk does not deserve your attention. She does not deserve your praise. She does not deserve the power she stole from the Hulk…And she’s a Slut. – Intelligencia
