Disney made the formal announcement that Marvel’s What If…? is coming back for a second season. Marvel Animation panel at San Diego Comic-Con also revealed that a third season of What If…? was in the works though no official release date for that was provided.

While talking about the new season Director Bryan Andrews and Writer AC Bradley also briefly mentioned the captain carter that we saw in the Multiverse of Madness is not the same as the captain carter we witnessed in the What if..? series.
