As per recent rumors, Marvel Studios has reportedly began casting for its “Fantastic Four” film. For long there were rumors about various actors who were in the running for the role. Now, as per the latest speculation two actors of the Star Wars franchise are the frontrunners for the role of Reed Richards/ Mr. Fantastic. One of them is the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy’s Kylo Ren and the other is “Andor’s” Cassian Andor. So Adam Driver and Diego Luna are up for the same stretchy character.

Adam Driver And Diego Luna For MCU’s Reed Richards

Initially, leaks said that Marvel Studios was looking to get Diego Luna for Reed Richards. It made sense because “Andor” was heavily praised in for its excellent writing and acting. Now, as per new leaks, there’s a new front runner for the role of Fantastic Four’s leader- Adam Driver. In the latest video, scooper Grace Randolph hinted that Adam Driver is the front-runner for the role.

Adam Driver is an established and talented actor with two Oscar nominations right now. He bagged the first one in the category of Best Actor for the “Marriage Story” film and then got a nomination in the Best Supporting Actor category for the “BlacKkKlansman” movie. As such, it looks like Marvel Studios is looking for actors who are critically and commercially celebrated.

So is this the nail in the coffin for fans who wanted to see John Krasinski reprise the role again after his “Doctor Strange 2” cameo? It seems so because as per latest reports from the actor, Marvel Studios hasn’t contacted him for any further discussions about the role.

What Will MCU’s Fantastic Four Movie Be About?

There’s almost no leaks or rumors about MCU’s “Fantastic Four” film. But there’s speculation that the movie will be set in the 60s. If this is true, then the film will probably take on a lost-in-time aesthetic. Also, this will make it the third period piece set in the MCU after the first “Captain America” and “Captain Marvel” film.

As for the other actors, we don’t have many leaks or rumors about them. However long back it was speculated that Taron Edgerton is being considered for the role of the Human Torch and Jodie Comer as well as Eiza Gonzalez were in the lead for the role of Sue Storm/ Invisible Woman.

So who will get the role for Reed Richards and Sue Storm? That remains to be seen.
