Miles Morales’ entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe has long been the focus of numerous theories. Although there were some light suspicions that the character would be introduced in Spider-Man: No Way Home, they all turned out to be nothing more than speculative. A new theory suggests that Avengers: Secret Wars would fulfil the necessary requirements to bring Miles and Peter face to face.
According to a new theory, the MCU will undergo some unexpected changes following the mind-blowing events of Secret Wars, one of which will be the coexistence of Miles Morales and Peter Parker in the 616 Universe. We already know that Secret Wars will contain a multiverse plot that is based on the same-titled comics. This already sets up a diverse cast of characters from many universes to arrive, and Morales’ appearance might take place in a manner similar to that.
Miles Exists In The MCU
The fact that we already have Miles Morales in the MCU is pretty noteworthy. Aaron Davis, Miles’ uncle, was shown in Spider-Man: Homecoming and was talking about how he has a nephew in town. In a deleted scene, he even namedrops Miles. As in No Way Home, during a dialogue between Spider-Man and Electro, they hinted that perhaps there is a Black Spider-Man somewhere in the universe. Therefore, it is highly intriguing how Miles Morales has previously been hinted at in the MCU.
There is uncertainty as to whether Holland will truly hand off the torch given that a second trilogy starring him is apparently in the works. On the other hand, as this idea suggests, Miles Morales and Peter Parker coexisting after the Secret Wars may be a possibility.
Miles Morales’ potential inclusion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been a topic of discussion. Earlier this year, director of Morbius Espinosa expressed his opinion on the subject. Espinosa was adamant that the question of whether or not Miles would join the MCU had never really existed; rather, the question would be when. He said, “I would bet your life on the fact that Miles Morales from the Spider-Verse will eventually appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
