Millie Bobby Brown Plans To Exit Stranger Things After Season 5
According to reports, Brown wants to explore other projects instead of featuring in a movie based on her character. She has played Eleven in four seasons of Stranger Things, a young girl with psychokinetic abilities, and is set to return for the fifth and final season of the show. For the eight-part season, she will be paid £250,000 per episode.
In an interview, Brown said that she is “definitely ready to wrap up” and that she feels like there’s a lot of the story that’s been told already. “I’m able to create stories myself that are important to me and focus on the bigger picture,” said the Enola Holmes actress.
Netflix is reportedly looking to expand the Stranger Things franchise with several spin-off projects. According to a source, the streaming giant is considering turning the franchise into a stage show for Broadway and the West End, following in the footsteps of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The source also revealed that other spin-off series featuring the main characters of the show are being developed.
