Previous promotional material referred to Monica Rambeau by the name “Spectrum,” while an official Marvel-licensed book called her “Spectrum” as well. However, the writer of the current Monica Rambeau: Photon comics, Eve L. Ewing, hinted that “Photon” would be the chosen moniker in The Marvels.
While inconsistencies in official merchandise are not uncommon, it remains unclear which name will be the definitive choice for Monica’s superhero identity. This ambiguity may even become a running joke among her teammates in the movie.
