Marvel Studios still has a few months to open its grand year in 2022 with its first project. But the wait isn’t too long. Because we now know that Marvel will kick off the year with Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight on Disney+. The series is one of its kind. Essentially because this is the first time an MCU hero is introduced into the mix through a small screen series. And it stars one of the industry’s exceptional performers. The anticipation surrounding Moon Knight is soaring. Now more than ever, Marvel has dropped the show’s first official trailer featuring Oscar Isaac’s Marc Spector and Ethan Hawke’s Arthur Harrow.

To put it simply, Moon Knight appears to be Marvel’s darkest and most terrifying MCU outing to have made it to the screens so far. The trailer sees Isaac’s fear and confusion. The premises have a gloomy undertone. Isaac’s character gives shape to the multiple personalities contained within former mercenary Marc Spector. The freakiest part of the trailer is when someone mentions him by the name. Also, we get a fresh look at Ethan Hawke’s mysterious villain. Arthur Harrow will allow fans to explore an intriguing ancient Egyptian mythology. The MCU is preparing to set foot into the unknown by telling a tale so dynamic, it creates a pedestal for future projects in the franchise.

Trailer reaction videos are a new trend nowadays and they are always fun to watch. Particularly with Marvel Studios. Previously, even the main cast of Spider-Man: No Way Home hopped in on the trend and reacted to their movie’s trailer. Thus taking the viewership of both the trailer and the reaction video to unbelievable heights. And now, with yet another set of cast members reacting to the first look, it appears as if Marvel is taking up with the trend to call it their own.

From the video, it is obvious that Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke are largely invested and satisfied with their work. Specifically, the part where Isaac jokes about his accent with the classic Oliver Twist quote “Please, sir, can I have some more?”. The pair appreciate his Rubik’s cube abilities. And acknowledged the fact that Marvel incorporated Kid Cudi’s music into the background. It is clear that Isaac and Hawke are absolutely excited. Their happiness has no bounds as they take in the final product of the long days of shooting for this thrilling Marvel project.

Besides, both Isaac and Hawke expressed their views on how the show felt frighteningly unusual to them. Which is a good thing because it is exactly what Marvel intends to deliver. Now that MCU explores darker, more complex places as 2022’s projects advance. It is still not determined whether Marvel will make a habit out of giving fans more of such trailer reaction videos with other upcoming outings. However, the latest video only adds to the abundance of enthusiasm surrounding Moon Knight’s Disney+ release.

Moon Knight will begin streaming on Disney+ on March 30, 2022.
