Marc Spector, Steven Grant, and Marvel’s take on ancient Egyptian mythology have been featured in three episodes of Moon Knight so far. Moon Knight, unlike any other MCU series, has the opportunity to explore characters and locations in depth through the story that has already been established.
Because of Marc Spector’s personal experience with Dissociative Identity Disorder, the character Steven Grant, a regular guy who worked at a gift shop, has become a favorite among fans. Marc’s ties to the Moon God Khonshu took him 3,500 miles away from his life in London to the deserts of Cairo, Egypt, in the first two episodes.
Every new episode of this show has brought something new to the table in terms of both the characters and the visuals. Even in Moon Knight’s opening credits scene, viewers have noticed that this is the case, as each week brings something new.
As The Credits Roll, Viewers Have Noticed Some Changes
For the first three episodes of Moon Knight, the post-episode credits sequence changes every week, according to @vinwriteswords on Twitter. Every time a new episode airs, the moon in Moon Knight’s opening credits scene changes phases. There was a thin crescent moon in the first episode, which progressed to a full circle in Episode 3.

This is the case with both the moon and the locations featured at the end of each episode in the wide shots. In the first episode, we see London, in the second, the Egyptian pyramids, and in the third, a vast, dusty desert under a full moon.
According to @Adam_Khan100‘s tweet, the moon appears to be waxing in the main plot of each new episode. Other cuts from the credits show the skylines of Cairo and London, depending on which city was the focus of the episode.

The Moon Phase Changes Every Week
Despite the fact that Marvel Studios is renowned for its mastery of the post-credits scene, the film’s credits sequences aren’t to be missed. There are Easter eggs that connect to the series, while others hint at what’s to come in the future. However, Moon Knight gives the show a new level of relevance.
Moon Knight’s final credits sequence appears to show a full moon after the hero accomplishes his solo journey because of the moon’s changing phases in each episode. If this trend holds true for the final three episodes, it means that Marc Spector will travel to a new location each time, and the one showcased most in each new episode will be highlighted in the credits.
In spite of the fact that this isn’t a point in time that adds to the actual story behind Oscar Isaac’s foremost hero, Marvel’s sixth Disney+ show adds a layer of depth to the overall experience.
