Everyone was looking forward to seeing how the Halloween specials turned out. Marvel made sure fans were not disappointed. They produced the very successful and entertaining Halloween Special, Werewolf by Night. Even thou it wasn’t for everyone, it was labelled a success by fans and critics alike, as it successfully proved how Marvel could display creative works of art without messing with their core cinematic universe.

Following the success of previous MCU specials, a new MCU rumor suggests that similar Disney+ projects are in development. Marvel merely scratched the surface when exploring the MCU’s horror universe. Thus, the expectation for similar Disney+ specials exploring characters from that world is sky-high.

Exciting Halloween Special Update

Daniel Ritchman, a Twitter scooper and reliable source, made fans speculate about new Halloween specials based on new characters in his latest Patreon post.
This rumor is aligned with The Cosmic Circus’ previous report that the MCU’s Phases 5 and 6 will introduce a number of new Marvel horrors following Werewolf by Night.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige even hinted that the world of monsters “will eventually become quite important” to the MCU’s future.

Characters Who Might Appear In These Specials

It is only speculation as to which characters Marvel will introduce in their next two Halloween specials. Regardless, Marvel has a broad range of characters to explore. With recent success with Werewolf by Night , it’s possible that they’ll try to discover further character development.

A holiday special featuring Ghost Rider, Mephisto , Magik, and maybe Dracula himself is also something Marvel Studios can consider. However, it is possible that upcoming Halloween specials will entirely focus on Man-Thing. Kevin Feige himself proposed the same idea. However, it will be long before we get to see them in action as there is no confirmation yet.
