With only a few weeks left until Phase 4 of the MCU kicks back into high gear, fans can get their first look at a brand-new hero in the form of Kamala Khan. Disney+ subscribers will be able to see the first full trailer for Ms Marvel on June 8 before Iman Vellani joins Brie Larson on the big screen.

During the trailer, fans were given a glimpse into the young new hero’s life as an Avengers superfan and future Avenger. Carol Danvers and Monica Rambeau star in Kamala Khan’s first MCU series, and the actress is preparing for a whirlwind journey into the world of heroism. “A true coming of age story for Vellani as she deals with school, family and everyday teen stuff,” this series will be something new to add to the Marvel Comics canon.

Immediately after its release, the first trailer became the talk of the MCU community, especially since it was the next project to premiere after Moon Knight and Doctor Strange 2. MCU stars from all corners shared their thoughts on the film’s 35th project since 2008, which premiered with a teaser trailer this week.

A number of stars and filmmakers from the MCU took to social media following the release of the first trailer for Ms Marvel.

Brie Larson, who plays Captain Marvel in 2023’s The Marvels, gave Iman Vellani an inspirational message ahead of their team-up effort:

“You ARE a superhero, Kamala.”

Ms Marvel will appeal to both those who are represented in it and those who are experiencing the series from the outsider’s perspective, according to Simu Liu of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: “Marvel Studios projects are for people of all backgrounds.”

“All Marvel projects are made for universal audiences, like Miss Marvel. The target audience for this one feels very wide and far-reaching. If you are in it, this will work very well for you. If you aren’t, it will also work very well for you. ;)”

For “reflecting the world we all live in,” Mark Ruffalo lauded Marvel for introducing a new diverse hero into the story.

“Marvel breaks new ground! Love you, Marvel for reflecting the world we live in. Welcome to the family, Kamala!”

Saagar Shaikh, star of Ms Marvel, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to join the MCU ahead of his upcoming appearance in less than three months:

“i’m so blessed to be a part of this alhumdulillah. June 8th on Disney+”

Ms Marvel star Zenobia Shroff hinted at the chaos in her own life in this trailer, which made her feel the craziness even more intense. Shroff, like Ruffalo, lauded the show’s representation as she eagerly awaited its debut:

“I sit in the middle of complete chaos writing this as my apartment gets painted and a few new things get added and old ones taken away. Feels fitting . my mind feels a little bit of a jumble too but it’s a beautiful crazy for once ha ha please come along with us on this ride this is representation! this is brown power! this is Miss Marvel!!”

As a writer/executive producer, A.C. Bradley revealed that she had a hand in the development of Ms Marvel and expressed her excitement for the story:

“Aaaahhhh! I had the huge honor to lend a hand (pun intended) on this amazing show! Can’t wait until the world discovers Ms. Marvel”

G. Willow Wilson and Ali were both tagged in Sana Amanat’s trailer post, hinting at how busy she has been:

“Been busy. The #msmarvel trailer is here.”

Ms Marvel fans and stars alike are always in a frenzy whenever a new MCU trailer is released, and this is no exception. No matter how this show turns out, it’s exciting to see the caliber of actors and filmmakers who are eager to see it come to fruition.

Iman Vellani will play one of the three powerful heroines in The Marvels sequel, and seeing Brie Larson’s excitement for her co-star is a treat. Additionally, Vellani’s support from someone with Mark Ruffalo’s tenure is certainly humble as he prepares for his own Disney+ show in She-Hulk.

Fans can’t wait to learn more about what Ms Marvel will bring to the MCU storyline as they eagerly await the character’s official introduction. Fans will get a glimpse of what it’s like to grow up in a world where superheroes rule the roost, even if they’re concerned about how her powers will translate.
