With December 17 drawing closer, The Witcher Seasons 2 premiere has audiences very excited. And to continue the hype, Netflix has been releasing new clips from the forthcoming season regularly. Among these clips, there is one specific piece of footage that has caught our attention. The clip shows Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia training at Kaer Morhen with his mentor, Kim Bodnia’s Vesemir.
The official trailer did feature tiny snippets of Geralt and Vesemir. But this is the first time we see them share the screen time and talk to each other. The Witcher fans eager to delve into their relationship dynamic believe that the show will do great justice to both the books and video games.
Details about a new clip featuring Geralt and Vesemir
As the clip added below appears, Geralt is training on top of high-raised wooden planks, working on his sword skills. Afterward, he jumps down and furnishes a few additional broad sweeps as he crosses Vesemir, who is closely watching Geralt.

And then, Vesemir says, “When you told me you called the Law of Surprise, I told you big mistake. You said you promised you wouldn’t claim the child. I said good, but still a big mistake.” To which Geralt replies with, “I had to save her.” “I know, and you knew I would call you out on it,” Vesemir points out. “Geralt responds with a fitting “Yeah,” and Vesemir responds, “You brought her here anyway.”
Following this exchange, Geralt’s expression switches to that of concern. However, the emotion is not too overpowering. But then again, it was enough to get fans eager to see how the said scenario turns out on screen.
