Star Wars fans are eagerly waiting for season 3 of The Mandalorian, especially after Din’s appearance in The Book of Boba Fett. We saw him reunite with Grogu and get a starship on the Boba Fett show.

However, he isn’t considered a Mandalorian anymore by The Armorer. But Din still adheres to the Mandalorian creed. Also, he has the Darksaber. So it looks like season 3 is all set to feature an important Star Wars location. And new rumors seem to have confirmed it.

The Bespin Bulletin reported that Season 3 of The Mandalorian used a set whose description matched that of a familiar Star Wars location from Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

They say that season 3 of the show will use a set used in the previous seasons of the show. Also, that set was used in The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

But, it looks like this time, a blue screen has also been used for a lake. Along with this, a cave set is also being used. It is black and has a floor made of dirt or black sand.

We don’t know whether it’s a different cave or just another version of the one we have previously seen. Also, it has been reported that Paz Vizla, Din Djarin, and The Armorer are in season 3, scenes that consist of a snow-topped mountain in the background.

It’s possible that it’s connected to the cave sets. We last saw Paz Vizla and The Armorer in Chapter 5 of The Book of Boba Fett. The Armorer cast out Din and said that the only way he could redeem himself was “in the living waters beneath the mines of Mandalore.”

Now, we haven’t really seen Mandalore in live-action. It was last seen during the last season of The Clone Wars when the Empire was taking control and would later go on to attack the planet. Thus, making it inhospitable and with only a handful of Mandalorians left in the galaxy.

Now, that line about the “living waters beneath the mines of Mandalore” wouldn’t have been put in randomly. And now that we know that one of the sets for season 3 includes water and caves, it certainly isn’t hard to make a connection.

If Mando goes to Mandalore to look for the living waters under the mines, Mandalore will be seen in live-action. Now, this isn’t exactly unexpected since many fans expected the planet to be a major part of Mando’s season 3 plot.

But what’s surprising is Paz Vizla and The Armorer’s possible inclusion. Clearly, The Armorer knows more about the current state of the planet than she is letting on.

If Bo-Katan Kryze also gets in the mix since she has a history with the Darksaber, it will result in a delightful mix of beliefs, ambitions, and more that will be amazing to see.

But for now, you can check out the first two seasons of The Mandalorian are available to stream on Disney+.
