James Gunn Comments On Future DC Plans
The DC universe is full of characters like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and more. But the DC bosses have till now failed to capitalise on these guns. Superman especially has been languishing for a long time with only a TV show now to his name.
But with Henry Cavill’s arrival and a confident leadership, things are looking up for DC. Taking to Twitter, James Gunn tweeted out that the plan moving forward was to focus on telling the biggest stories.
Check out his tweet below:
But all our initial focus is on the story going forward, hammering out the new DCU, & telling the Biggest Story Ever Told across multiple films, television shows, & animated projects.

What Are The New Stories Being Told Under James Gunn’s Leadership?
James Gunn’s reign has just begun. The director has just assumed office with Peter Safran on 1st November. So nothing has been concretized till now. However, there are reports of a Superman movie in the works and a Black Adam sequel is also supposedly being written.
Apart from this, DC has a packed slate ready for release in 2023. Aquaman 2, The Flash, Blue Beetle, and Shazam 2 will represent the brand next year. And there are more movies and shows in development, like Joker 2 and the Penguin HBO Max show.
So for now things are happening at DC. It just remains to be seen if James Gunn will be able to stitch all the pieces together to create a unified universe like Marvel has done.
