The upcoming DC film The Flash is expected to feature numerous cameos, including Michael Keaton’s Batman and Sasha Calle’s Supergirl. However, there have been rumors about the possible appearance of Henry Cavill’s Superman in the movie. The speculation indicated that the Man of Steel would only appear through “repurposed” footage from Justice League.

Director Andy Muschietti confirmed during a Q&A at Cinema Con that the film has surprise cameos for fans but revealed that several characters didn’t make it into the final cut. One of them was Marlon Brando’s Jor-El, a major character who appeared in the 1978 Superman movie. Muschietti also shared that Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman, Burgess Meredith’s Penguin, and Cesar Romero’s Joker almost made cameos.

Grant Gustin’s Flash from the Arrowverse was supposed to have a cameo in the movie, according to Muschietti. However, due to the extensive list of cameos, there was not enough space to include his version of the speedster.

Exciting Surprises For DC Fans

George Clooney’s Batman

Despite some characters being removed from the final cut, The Flash could still feature unexpected cameos, including rumored involvement as Batman, other Arrowverse speedster characters like Teddy Sears’ Zoom, and even Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman.

The movie is set to release soon and promises to be a treat for fans of the DC Universe. Although the absence of some characters may disappoint some fans, there is no doubt that the inclusion of Michael Keaton’s Batman and Sasha Calle’s Supergirl will be thrilling for fans of the genre.
