One of the most anticipated Disney+ projects is the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Fans have been waiting for a long to see Ewan McGregor become the famous Jedi master again. So with every new leak, fans are becoming more excited.

Right now, we know that there’s probably going to be a showdown between Darth Vader and Kenobi. After all, it was confirmed months ago that Hayden Christensen will also be reprising his role as Darth Vader after a long time. Now there’s more new information that’s backing up Vader’s appearance along with his Inquisitors.

Also, many fans are theorizing that there will be flashbacks to the Clone Wars where we will get to see Anakin Skywalker getting seduced by the darkness. Amid this theorizing, Sung Kang, one of the actors who was confirmed by Disney for the show has shared some very interesting details about the upcoming series.

Multiple Jedis In Obi-Wan Kenobi Show

In an interview done with Rotten Tomatoes, Sung Kang mentioned that being on the sets of a Star Wars production was an absolute dream and felt incredible. Kang further said that there was an immense “feeling of legacy” in the production crew and said that every crew member feels like their dreams are coming true.

Along with this, Kang also gave some details about the characters in this show. He mentioned there being “Jedis,” “Darth Vader,” and “pinch yourself” moments. Here’s his quote:

“…to see one of the Star Wars characters or Darth Vader character, or you know, one of the Jedis walking around.”

Who Are These Multiple Jedis?

Now, we already know about Darth Vader being in the show, but Sung Kang’s mention of multiple “Jedis” leads us to believe that there might be more of these lightsaber wielders in the show and not just Master Kenobi.

So if Hayden Christensen portrays Anakin in the Clone Wars flashbacks, then we might get to see multiple Jedi there. After all, the Jedi Order was featured quite heavily during the war. So multiple Jedis can very well appear. Know that we could even see Ahsoka Tano, Anakin’s apprentice as well.

If this happens, then this is the first time in live-action that this meeting will take place. But that’s not all. It will help connect The Clone Wars animated series with the Revenge of the Sith movie.

However, we shouldn’t discard the other possibilities as well. For example, the other Jedi survivors of Order 66 can also show up in the show. After all, they could come to Obi-Wan for protection or guidance. As such, it’s possible that Vader hunts them and this is what leads him to Obi-Wan Kenobi.

So this leads to the face-off between Kenobi and Vader. However, this is all theorizing and speculation right now. But fans can expect to get new information as the release date draws nearer. Right now, we are expecting a 2022 release date for the show on Disney+.
