Deadpool 3 is one of the highly anticipated Marvel movies. After all, the 4th wall breaking mercenary will finally be a part of the MCU. We know that Ryan Reynolds will be reprising his role as the merc with a mouth, and Hugh Jackman will be joining him as Wolverine. But there’s also a rumoured latest addition which will shock you!

Deadpool 3 recruiting Hugh Jackman as Wolverine was one of the biggest coups of the MCU. And now scooper DanielRPK says that Owen Wilson will also reprise his role as Agent Mobius in Deadpool 3. Additionally, there are rumours that it’s not just him, but the entire TVA will be in the film.

We last saw Agent Mobius in the Disney+ show Loki where he and the TVA captured Loki for creating branching timelines. If the rumour turns out to be correct, then this will be Owen Wilson’s second outing as Mobius in the MCU.

What Role Will Agent Mobius Play In The Movie?

As of now, there’s no official confirmation regarding his appearance in the movie. But fan theories are already running rampant. One speculation is that the TVA and Mobius will go after Deadpool because at the end of Deadpool 2, he used Cable’s time travel device to fix a few things.

As such, it’s possible that the action will have some adverse consequences for him. Another related theory states that this might be how he manages to reach the MCU timeline. Maybe at the beginning of the movie, he could be captured by the TVA, and then Loki’s actions ensured that he’s out now.

Then he might team up with Jackman’s Wolverine and they, along with Mobius, might go for a multiversal road trip exploring various timelines. Also, it’s interesting to note that Hugh Jackman hasn’t been announced to be the MCU’s Wolverine till now. Reports say he’s just back in Deadpool 3 without any plans to appear in more movies.

So it’s fair to assume, at least for now, that he’s the Foxverse’s Logan and belongs to that timeline. It remains to be seen how the movie turns out and if it plays with the multiverse. Since Deadpool loves breaking the 4th wall, it will be interesting to witness his meta-commentary on the MCU and his place in it.
