Will Doctor Strange continue to be a more powerful Sorcerer than Scarlet Witch? Wanda Maximoff and Doctor Stephen Strange are Marvel’s most well-known magical characters. Scarlet Witch, a magical yet powerful Sorcerer entity with enormous power, has been predicted in numerous magic books. The other is a Mystic Arts Master of immense stature and accomplishment.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a big draw because he brings the two together and has them face off against each other. The majority of their straight fights are one-sided affairs that last only a few seconds. But there are some people in the audience who wonder who would win the battle where both fighters brought their best efforts and preparation.

Even though he isn’t the MCU’s powerful Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange comes close. He has repeatedly shown his mettle in the face of dangers that should be far beyond his pay grade. Doctor Strange’s first encounter with Dormammu, a godlike being, ends in a favourable outcome for him.

In a similar way as seen in Avengers: Infinity War, Strange is, unlike many others, who could stand up to an Infinity Gauntlet-armed Thanos for a long time. However, he eventually lost, all thanks to Thanos’ acquired Stones that countered his powers. That gives him a fighting chance against Wanda because Strange has shown that he can take on foes he should have no chance against.

Wanda is the most powerful magic-wielder in the MCU

One of the strongest characters in the franchise, Wanda Maximoff has innate chaos magic and is amplified by the Mind Stone in Avengers: Age of Ultron. She is able to incapacitate nearly all of the Avengers at once. Since then, her strength has only grown stronger through grief, experiments, and acquiring knowledge more about WandaVision’s true powers.

Wanda/Scarlet Witch has proven herself to be one of the Multiverse’s most powerful Sorcerer in Strange’s Multiverse of Madness. She defeats an Illuminati team that includes Black Bolt and Captain Marvel, two of the most powerful superheroes in the Marvel Universe. Early in the film, Strange admits that he has no chance in a head-to-head duel.

Strange wins because he is less secluded and has allies

She has an unfortunate tendency to lose people who are close to her. She ends up losing her brother, her lover, the majority of the Avengers she is connected to, and her children over the duration of several films. The Darkhold has corrupted her by the time of Multiverse of Madness, leaving her vulnerable and forcing her to wage a one-woman war against Kamar-Taj.

However arrogant and distant he may seem, Strange is encircled by allies. Aside from American Chavez and Wong, he has a number of allies in Multiverse of Madness to aid him in his battle against Wanda. If he needs help, he can rely on the help of other allies as well. As a result, Strange has the capacity to summon reinforcements, whereas Wanda does not.

Wanda is the victor because she has the Darkhold and is inclined to use it.

Wanda’s morale plummeted dramatically between WandaVision’s bittersweet conclusion and the beginning of Multiverse of Madness because she read the Darkhold. To read the Darkhold is to be infiltrated by a corrupting force of evil.

It is, however, one of the most potent artifacts in the MCU. A reading of this book increases Wanda’s magical abilities to a new level, and she uses it to perform spells such as summoning demons from alternate dimensions or taking over her alternate selves. A threat that is nearly insurmountable is Wanda’s new status with the Darkhold.

With his willingness to cross moral boundaries, Strange wins.

When it comes to accomplishing his goals, Doctor Strange isn’t above blurring the lines between right and wrong in order to achieve maximum effect. He’s an apocalyptic threat in his own right in many universes, and he’s descending into darkness in many of them.

If Strange is determined to defeat Wanda, few things will stand in his way. For Strange, reading Darkhold, risking the fate of entire universes, and exploiting her past experiences and trauma are all fair game. While Wanda was at her peak of evil, he is one of the most brutal MCU heroes to date.

Wanda is the winner because she has the power to influence other people’s thoughts.

As devastating as Wanda’s magic is, one of her most inexorable supernatural abilities is to access the minds of other people and cause havoc. Tony Stark is compelled to do so, which prompts the creation of Ultron, which ultimately defeats basically the entire Avengers group in Johannesburg, South Africa.

In the sequels WandaVision and Multiverse of Madness, she stops using this power for a long time before it makes a sinister comeback. The weaknesses that Strange possesses in spades are exactly what Wanda thrives on. The Master of the Mystic Arts can fortify his mind against Wanda, even though Wanda can use it to put Strange in a tough spot, or even against his allies, even with the help of others.

Because he’s an expert at thinking outside the box, Strange triumphs.

Doctor Strange and Wanda

It’s not just his raw power that makes Strange so effective; it’s also his wit and creativity when it comes to solving problems. In his constant search for new possibilities, he makes use of the resources he has at his disposal, such as his abilities and the natural world. In order to take on villains like Dormammu, he has to have this ability, which he does in the climax of Multiverse of Madness.

Doctor Strange is trapped in another destructed universe at the end of the movie and would be powerless to defeat Wanda, no matter how close they came to meeting. His completely sensible remedy is to acquire the carcass of an altered version of himself and defang the spirits of the doomed to fight Wanda, all so that America Chavez can recognize the inaccuracy of her ways. Wanda prefers a more aggressive approach, whereas Strange is more inclined to work around her.

It’s no secret that Wanda has an intuitive grasp of many different kinds of magic.

Because of this, Wanda relies on her sheer ill to carry on the day against Strange, a more skilled magician. Despite her lack of formal training in magic, she excels at understanding and weaponizing magic of all kinds, including that of others.

It’s implied that the mere act of witnessing Agatha Harkness use runes to bind the powerful Sorcerer’s own power gives Wanda a premonition to do the same in WandaVision. In Multiverse of Madness, when Strange imprisons her in the Mirror Dimension, she uses reflective surfaces to figure out a way to escape and even kill. If Wanda has enough time, she will be able to counter all of Strange’s tricks.
