Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness star Patrick Stewart recently discussed whether Professor X, who is confirmed to appear, should trust Dr. Strange. Stewart’s comments perfectly capture their upcoming dynamic. After the second trailer for Doctor Strange 2 revealed that Patrick Stewart would reprise his role as Professor Xavier, it appears that the actor is finally free to talk about his role in the film. Despite the fact that Stewart has not explicitly stated that he will appear in Doctor Strange 2, Professor X’s inclusion in Multiverse of Madness is one of the few things we know for sure about the film.

This will be the first time a mutant has appeared in the MCU and promises to make up for WandaVision’s Ralph Bohner moment. ‘Multiverse of Madness’ This is the first time that Professor Xavier has ever interacted with other Marvel characters, and it appears that Patrick Stewart’s decision to retire from the role was made because of this opportunity. Professor X’s encounter with Doctor Strange is one of the most eagerly anticipated encounters. ‘

Comic book and MCU fans will agree with Patrick Stewart on this point. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there are only a handful of characters who can hold their own against the X-Men’s charismatic leader, and Doctor Strange just so happens to be one of those few. With the arrival of Doctor Strange, Professor X’s status as the most powerful individual in a room is challenged. No matter how powerful Xavier’s Omega-level telepathy was, he couldn’t guarantee that the former Sorcerer Supreme would fall under his control. When it comes to Doctor Strange, Charles Xavier has no choice but to be skeptical, no matter how good the hero’s motives may appear to be.

With Professor Xavier in the MCU’s version of the Illuminati in Multiverse of Madness, that dynamic takes on even more intrigue. As Strange is being detained, it appears that Professor Xavier knows more about the Multiverse than the Avenger, which suggests that Professor Xavier may have the upper hand in this situation. By now, Xavier and his colleagues must be familiar with Doctor Strange in some form, and thus must know just how extensive the sorcerer’s abilities are. For another reason, Professor Xavier needs to keep an eye on the Doctor Strange 2 trailer, which suggests that the hero is to blame for something bad happening in the Multiverse.

In both the comics and the FOX movies, Charles Xavier has witnessed a number of super-powered individuals causing havoc in the world due to their reckless use of their powers. Xavier, despite his own flaws, is the X-Men’s leader and has dedicated his life to helping those who wish to learn more about their powers and battling those who use them for evil. In dealing with Strange, Professor X will have to make a similar distinction.

Patrick Stewart is correct when he says that Xavier cannot put his faith in Doctor Strange. There will finally be a meeting between two superheroes after years of speculation and fan speculation. When Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness opens in theaters, audiences will learn whether or not Professor X can trust Doctor Strange.
