In a recent interview with Audacy’s V-103, Tucker expressed his excitement about the upcoming project, saying he is “definitely” down to return alongside Chan. Although Tucker teased that he has some new stuff in store for fans, he also confirmed that Rush Hour 4 is something he will probably be a part of.

The Long Wait For Rush Hour 4

Rush Hour 4 has been in talks for several years, with Chan revealing in 2017 that another sequel was in the works. Tucker also supported Chan’s comments, hyping up the fourth film in 2018 as “the rush of all rushes.” Despite Tucker’s claim in 2019 that the film was close to coming together, Rush Hour 4 failed to materialize.

One possible factor holding up the development of Rush Hour 4 is Brett Ratner, who directed all three films, being accused of sexual assault and harassment by several actors. Warner Bros. cut ties with Ratner, leaving Rush Hour in need of a new director for the fourth installment.

However, fans may want to be cautiously optimistic since Chan and Tucker’s comments have yet to lead to any tangible results. Regardless, fans of the Rush Hour franchise can look forward to what Tucker promises will be “on a whole other level.”
