With the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the cinematic universe recently completed Phase 4 and entered Phase 5. There are a number of intriguing projects on the horizon for the next two phases, which have been largely confirmed. Thunderbolts is undoubtedly one of the many remarkable and eye-catching ones. Although it features every MCU rebel to date, there isn’t really a villain to pit the group against. Rumors are that he’s an evil Superman and that Ryan Gosling is pushing to play him.

According to rumors, Ryan Gosling is being considered by Marvel Studios for a key villain role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The part calls for a leading male between the ages of 30 and 50, who will be described as “a troubled and powerful villain” and comparable to an “evil Superman.” According to insiders, Marvel is looking to cast Ryan Gosling or Alexander Skarsgard as Thunderbolts in 2024. All evidence points to the character being Sentry, a fearsome Marvel superhero.
