Nearly two weeks ago, we brought to you fresh news off the deck highlighting Ryan Gosling’s presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. At the time we were only able to speculate on the actor’s Marvel role. Gosling was rumored to play the role of Nova. However, it has now been made clear that this may not be the case at all. Read on to know more.

While Gosling has collaborated with some of Hollywood’s greatest stars, he is among the few actors who have not yet played a DC or Marvel comic book character.

Ryan Gosling has reportedly shown interest in portraying Ghost Rider, a superhero from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There is barely a celebrity alive today who hasn’t worked with or who doesn’t wish to work with Marvel Studios.

Every famous person has dreamed of breaking through the Studio’s mysterious curtain and becoming part of the studio’s power structure. However, it seems that Ryan Gosling’s request is not well received by the fans, who are wary of both him and Marvel’s interpretation of Ghost Rider.

Is Ryan Gosling Joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

Ryan Gosling As Ghost Rider

That Ryan Gosling will be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is still only rumored at this time. Many have speculated that Ryan Gosling may have a part in Nova in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, in a recent interview with Joshua Horowitz, Gosling flatly rejected any connection with the project. But Johnny Blaze, better known as Ghost Rider, is the persona he most aspires to embody.

Although the actor is really pumped to portray Johnny Blaze, many are worried that MCU would water down the part in order to keep it inside the more conservative PG-13 rating.

It’s also worth noting that many fans would want to see Keanu Reeves or Norman Reedus in the role. So it’s understandable that not everyone is enthusiastic about Ryan Gosling portraying Ghost Rider in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Although Nicolas Cage played the role of Ghost Rider in a number of Marvel films in the late 2000s, he is one of the few major Marvel comic book characters not to have made an appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Also included are members of the Fantastic Four and the X-Men.

There has been no recent speculation that Johnny Blaze or Robbie Reyes may join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Nonetheless, if such a venture were to be conceived, Ryan Gosling would be eager to participate.
