Salma Hayek has addressed photographs of herself wet in a stringy bikini, arching her back with flotation devices out, and a slew of other issues in the first remarks spoken since the 54-year-old began releasing bikini thirst traps in December 2020.
Salma, 54, one of the few celebs her age still scooping up Instagram followers, made news this week for opening up to Entertainment Tonight, when the swimsuit body was discussed. Take a look at it below.
If you’re not up to date, Hayek started it all on December 29, 2020, with a post from a tropical vacation, the location of which was never divulged. Salma made headlines for doing tequila shots with lime while wearing a stringy bikini, showing off her enormous DDs in a purple two-piece, and even going selfie mode to show off her massive thigh gap while wearing a chocolate-brown bikini.
The Mexican, who described the photographs as “liberating,” revealed that she batches posts because the figure isn’t always how it seems in the photos. “I had to lose a lot of weight and exercise a lot to fit into the bikini towards the end of last year.
“I’m pleased I shot a lot of pictures; I have no guilt in it because it was the first week of vacation,” she told ET, adding, “but after that first week and when I heard that everyone was going back into quarantine, I started eating again.”
Salma, who stated last year that she doesn’t “always reveal cleavage,” confirmed that the haters should expect plenty more bikini images – not that there are many, with Salma celebrating reaching 17 million Instagram followers in January 2020.
“People are tired of it, but I’m going to give them a respite.” They’ll believe I’m wearing a bikini every day. “No, they’re all from the same place,” the Latina went on. Continue scrolling to see her daring ocean handstand!
“The Eternals” actress, who is also preparing for the forthcoming Amazon Prime movie “Bliss,” said she was “sharing the love around” and will do so every two weeks: “I’m going to put up another one.” I’m almost out of them, but I’m not sure what to do. I’m almost out of them, but I’m not sure if you have that feeling, like, in 2021!”
Salma has earned almost 300,000 Instagram followers after reaching 17 million. She’s previously made headlines for defending her marriage when swimsuit photos prompted “Are you still single?” inquiries.
