After a long silence from Marvel Studios, the eagerly awaited Secret Invasion series for Disney+ has been given its first look. Although it won’t be available for another year, these leaked images, and videos are exciting. Emilia Clarke, Samuel L. Jackson, and Ben Mendelsohn, longtime stars of the MCU, are joining forces in this series. This is certainly already building anticipation for both the story and the actors involved.
Even as filming continues in the United Kingdom, Secret Invasion’s set of leaked images and videos are giving viewers a peek at some of the action that’s being captured for this thriller of a Disney+ show. Secret Invasion is slowly coming to the forefront for fans. This is all thanks to the inside looks provided by Cobie Smulders’ interactions with Ben Mendelsohn as Maria Hill and Talos and Kingsley Ben-Adir’s first sightings with Marvel Studios.
From Game of Thrones To MCU
Emilia Clarke, the former leading lady of Game of Thrones, was spotted in Leeds, England. Here she was seen wearing a dark coat and a short brunette hairstyle, according to recently leaked photos. The much-anticipated MCU debut of Clarke has yet another teaser in the form of a new behind-the-scenes video from the set.
For Marvel Studios’ Secret Invasion, which is currently filming in the United Kingdom, a new video of Emilia Clarke on set has been shared by @SInvasionNews. The first video is just two seconds long. However, it shows Clarke checking behind her to make sure she isn’t being followed as she walks down the street.

In the second video, in which Clarke is seen walking through a corridor crowded with other people dressed in the same outfit as him. In the end, the footage shows Clarke and Cobie Smulders laughing and hugging.

Hill is either “following (Clarke) or meeting her,” but given Clarke’s worried expression, it seems more likely that she is being followed:
“She’s either following her or meeting her but looks as if she were following her due to other set photos and videos that show Emilia Clarke looking worried and suspicious around the public.”
The Mysterious MCU Debut of Emilia Clarke
Secret Invasion appears to be more mysterious than any other upcoming MCU Disney+ project. This makes sense given that it’s based on a Marvel Comics storyline. Even with a good look at Emilia Clarke, we still don’t know what she’ll be doing in the MCU. These images and videos are the first time we’ve seen the cast.
Secret Invasion’s cast and story remain a mystery. This is despite over half a minute of set footage showing Clarke in costume and mostly in character. Clarke’s past comments have hinted at a long-term role in the MCU. However, until her role is revealed, viewers will have to keep guessing where she fits in this season.
It’s safe to assume that Marvel won’t reveal anything official about what the Oscar-winning actor is doing with Marvel Studios until the show premieres in at least a year. Notwithstanding, filming is almost certainly still ongoing. While we wait for the conclusion of this blockbuster Disney+ show, she will continue to be a hot topic. Disney+’s upcoming series Secret Invasion is currently in production and is expected to premiere sometime in 2023.
