The fourth and final season of HBO Max’s Titans has been teasing massive surprises and exciting cameos from across the DC multiverse. One of these surprises is the unexpected appearance of Zachary Levi‘s Shazam in one of the show’s final episodes.

Traversing Realities With Beast Boy

In the latest episode titled “Dude, Where’s My Gar?”, Gar Logan/Beast Boy can be seen traversing realities as he peers into the Multiverse. During one of his journeys, Levi’s Shazam makes a brief appearance as he flies towards the camera. The footage is pulled straight from the first Shazam! film, where the hero diverts Mark Strong’s Sivana.

DC’s Small Screen Synergy

Grant Gustin Addresses Rumors About Appearance In The Flash Movie

Despite taking place in different universes than the films, DC has excelled in adding big-screen heroes into its television-based ventures. Shazam’s cameo on Titans will be added to the list alongside the Justice League’s appearance at the end of Peacemaker and Ezra Miller’s Flash helping out in The Flash’s Crisis on Infinite Earths event.

Although DC characters have appeared on TV, a jump going the other way has yet to happen. However, rumors suggest that Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen, who is in the midst of his final season as the Flash on the CW, could appear in the upcoming The Flash film.

Super-Powered Synergy

James Gunn Sets The Record Straight On Dc Reboot Slate Rumors

Super-powered synergy has been revealed to be a key pillar of James Gunn’s reinvigorated DCU set to start sometime next year. Even if Gustin’s TV version of the scarlet speedster does not make an appearance on the big screen, the possibilities of seeing more DC characters on both TV and film are endless.
