She-Hulk episode 2 is out now. The episode itself felt like a filler and was extremely short. Nonetheless, there were many blink-and-you’ll-miss-it details hidden here and there. The most important one was a news article that officially introduced Wolverine to the MCU
The first episode ended with Jen revealing her powers to the world as she becomes She-Hulk to save the jury in court from Titania. However, this has consequences. She loses the trial as the case was declared a mistrial. This was because Jen positively influenced and biased the jury by saving their lives. Jen is fired from her job as her She-Hulk powers have made her a liability to the DA’s office. She also gets turned down by several other firms due to the same reason. Having given up hope, Jen is surfing the internet for offbeat jobs for a fresh start. In the article, there’s a related articles section where a headline reads, “Man fights with metal claws in bar brawl.” This is obviously referring to Wolverine. Not only does he love alcohol he almost always gets into fights while drunk and isn’t afraid of using his claws.
Now we know that Mutants exist in the MCU due to Ms. Marvel’s introduction. However, officially introducing one of the most important X-Men is sure a wonderful surprise. Most fans were not expecting Marvel to tease X-Men and the Wolverine anytime soon.
Its extremely unlikely that Wolverine will show up in She-Hulk. This is especially considering that a mutants project hasn’t been announced as of yet and Marvel wouldn’t solely introduce Wolverine. This is most likely Marvel’s way of saying that mutants exist in their world and that they will probably be on our screens sometime soon. However, there is a tiny chance that he might actually appear and not just as a name drop. After all the show is going to explore Jen’s role as the head of the Superhuman division at her firm. Considering that Wolverine just got into a bar brawl and was exposed as a man with metal claws, he may just need a lawyer in his corner. Who better than She-Hulk right?
