With his homecoming imminent, Jessica Gao, the show’s producer, has promised that the fourth chapter, “Wong’s Return,” would be a fan favorite. Jennifer Walters played by Tatiana Maslany), the solicitor cousin of Bruce Banner, has her plasma infiltrate her body in a vehicle collision and transform her into the eponymous superhero in the newest Disney+ series in the Marvel Universe.

Jennifer is now the chief of a legal section that focuses on matters concerning superheroes, so she must learn to juggle her existence as a superhero with her sudden notoriety as a high-powered attorney. The 30-minute format of the show gives the authors greater freedom to include Marvel characters glimpsed in previous MCU productions.

According To Jessica Gao

As Sorcerer Supreme following Strange tragic disappearance owing to the blip in Avengers: Infinity War, Wong continues to hold that post even after Strange reappears a couple of years later. Creators of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law are trying to drum up excitement for Wong’s comeback, even though the episode has yet to air. Geeks of Color questioned Jessica Gao, producer of She-Hulk:

Attorney at Law, whether she had a favorite episode. Gao said that episode 4 would be popular since it presents a fresh side of Wong to the audience.

Here is what she really said:

Oh, there are so many episodes. I mean, I loved all the episodes, and there’s so many really special ones. I mean, episode 4, I think, is gonna be a fan favorite of everybody’s, just because, you know, we get to see Wong in such a new light, but we also get to pair him with probably I think the best pairing in the entire MCU.

There’s some upcoming episodes that feel kind of like bottle-ish episodes, where you really kind of focus on this one story, and we deal with things that you just haven’t seen any superheroes deal with, that feel very human and part of normal life that I’m very excited to show. I love that we get to kind of go into areas of regular human life, but with the superhero because we actually have the space to do that, as opposed to the movies, where it’s always about saving the universe, you know.

Gao has already highlighted Wong’s part in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, describing the show’s unusual perspective on Wong’s life and his interactions with Madisynn, who is believed to be an inebriated casualty of magic.

We’re In WCO, Says Gao

Gao has said in the past that Wong is among her favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes and that we are presently “in the period of WCO (Wong cinematic universe), as it ought to be.” Gao’s unwavering faith and passion for Wong’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law plotline bode well for Episode 4’s reception. It has been announced that many other well-known MCU figures, like Emil Blonsky and Daredevil, will appear in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law alongside Wong.

The producer of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Gao, has hope that Wong’s fanbase would be greater than the others despite the fact that their cameos may get some acclaim from certain fans. Because of She Hulk’s -comical tone, it’s easy to understand why fans would appreciate the opportunity to watch a well-known but somewhat underappreciated figure like Wong explore that aspect of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
