The Incredible Avenger faced off against Tim Roth’s Emil Blonsky/ The Abomination, in Edward Norton’s one and only appearance as the Hulk. Blonsky, however, seemed to have made a turn and be on the path to redemption since then.
The Rematch
In a brand-new finale TV Spot for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, The Abomination and Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk will square off once again.
Even after his apparent redemption and the revelation that he has made peace with Bruce Banner, The Hulk can subsequently be seen sparring with Abomination.
The fight appears to be based on the same scene from the last trailer where The Abomination wearing a shirt was applauded by a group of people.
The Hulk’s combat style has changed significantly from prior encounters as he finally returns to fighting mode. T he Hulk in this brief footage seems to be using more boxing skills than reckless smashing.
Was Abomination’s Redemption Fake?
With Intelligencia hunting She-Hulk and the identity of the organization’s leader still a mystery, Blonsky might turn out to be connected to the evil group. After all, there was strong suspicion because Blonsky’s retreat was attended by a Wrecking Crew member who had just assaulted Walters to extract her blood.
Several episodes ago, Blonsky’s ankle monitor stopped working, which led Jennifer Walters to believe he had changed into Abomination. Now that his ability to redeem himself is in doubt, he might be working toward something more sinister.
She Hulk’s Finale drops this Thursday on Disney Plus.
