What does Shuri’s new look like? Marvel fans have known for some time that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be an exceptional film due to the untimely death of Chadwick Boseman, who starred in the film. Undoubtedly, it has undergone a great number of shifts, and the production side of things has experienced more than one obstacle on its way to turning the whole thing into a reality. In spite of all the challenges they’ve faced, the movie is still on track to be released at the end of this year as planned.
Even though it hasn’t been confirmed just yet, there are rumblings that when Wakanda returns to the big screen, they’ll be facing up against Namor, the king of the undersea kingdom of Atlantis. This information has not been made public just yet. Because of the combative nature of their relationship in the comics, the possibility of them appearing together is not out of the question.
Shuri, who is played by Letitia Wright, is most likely going to be in charge of directing the resistance against their danger. She is said to be the one who will also be the one to take up the eponymous mantle of the Black Panther as she fills the position that her late on-screen brother, Boseman’s T’Challa, performed for years. This is so, according to the rumor mill.
New photographs of some of the most important characters have been released, even if fans are still awaiting the debut of the project’s first trailer.
Fans now have their first glimpse at Letitia Wright’s character Shuri and Danai Gurira’s character Okoye from the forthcoming Marvel Studios film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Shuri and Okoye’s new look was made possible via some recently unearthed Sprite products.
Shuri gets a brand new hairdo to go along with her new outfit, which consists of a purple suit that has an obvious Wakandan influence on its design. Her Kimoyo Beads are on her left wrist, and she has something that looks like a tattoo on her right hand.
Okoye is also revealed, and her appearance is almost unchanged from how she has been represented in the previous three Marvel Cinematic Universe appearances.
Shuri is the only one of the two characters to flaunt a new appearance, and she does it alone. She has maintained her chic appearance, but what is most striking about her appearance now is the new haircut, which has shorter hair trimmed in a curlier manner than the long locks she once had. Her attire is also a touch less formal than the ones that were worn throughout the whole of Black Panther in 2018.
Additionally, the princess is sporting what looks to be a new ornamental tattoo; however, the meaning behind it is not quite evident.
Regarding Okoye, she seems to have retained her previous appearance in its entirety, with this picture revealing what appears to be no discernible external changes. It is to be hoped that she will, at some point throughout the course of the film, be given a makeover, since her attire has remained mostly unchanged throughout Black Panther and the two following Avengers films.
Sadly, these photographs do not provide any further information or context on what will occur in the much-awaited sequel.
