Hugh Jackman is returning in “Deadpool 3” and fans couldn’t be happier. But that one appearance doesn’t seem to be satiating fans. Many are wondering if they will get to see the clawed hero again in future projects or if “Deadpool 3” will be his one and only appearance in the MCU. Now, a new rumor has surfaced that says that he as well as one Spider-Man will come back in MCU’s “Avengers: Secret Wars”. Scroll down to read more about it.

Spider-Man And Wolverine Teaming Up?

In the pages of Marvel comics, Spider-Man and Wolverine have teamed up several times. But we haven’t seen them teaming up in live-action. However, if a new rumor is to be believed then that’s about to change. As per Twitter scooper My Time To Shine Hello, Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine will fight alongside each other in “Avengers: Secret Wars.” Check out the tweet below:

So it looks like Secret Wars will be Hugh Jackman’s last MCU movie as Wolverine. After that he will pass on the claws to someone else. We know that fans are asking if Marvel Studios will keep him as their version of Logan. But we don’t think so. After all, even though Jackman is iconic as Wolverine, but fans already know about his Logan’s journey as well as how he meets his end.

So the Marvel bosses will definitely bring in a new actor who will begin the journey of their version of Wolverine anew in the MCU. As such, Secret Wars will probably be the last goodbye for Jackman’s version of the character to satiate fans.

Is This Team Up Actually Possible In Avengers: Secret Wars?

It is rumored that “Avengers: Secret Wars” is going to be a massive team-up of various heroes from all across the multiverse to fight Kang. So it makes sense that Maguire’s Spider-Man and Jackman’s Wolverine will fight together to defeat Kang or Kang’s variant in the movie. However, one question still remains, why is there no mention of Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man?

One reason behind this might be that the scooper doesn’t have adequate knowledge of all the decision-making going on at Marvel Studios. Or Andrew Garfield might not have finalized a contract to return. We certainly expect Garfield to show up if Maguire’s Spider-Man is returning. After all, it will be a mini reunion of all the Spidermen in a big battle again.

Also, it was previously rumored that Kevin Feige is looking to bid goodbye to all the Foxverse Marvel heroes one last one before he introduces the MCU versions of them. As such, we expect not just Garfield’s Spider-Man, but also the other X-Men actors like Patrick Stewart and Evan Peters to show up during Secret Wars. It’s also speculated that Fantastic Four actors like Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba will be in the movie too. Now, it will be interesting to see if Chris Evans reprises his role as Captain America and the Human Torch in the film.
