So let us recap the premiere a little and then check out the social media response:

The Bad Batch Episode 1 Season 1 Premiere

The series premiere, episode- 1×01 titled “Aftermath” shows us all the events of the infamous Order 66 from the point of view of The Bad Batch. Now they aren’t that affected by the Order, especially when compared to the other regular clones.

Apart from this, the premiere showed us a different retelling of Jedi Padawan Caleb Dume’s origin story. Viewers will surely know him better from Star Wars Rebels as Kanan Jarrus.

Omega

At the end of the 70 min premiere episode, we see that the group has adopted Omega, a young fan and have really gone rogue. But of course, they haven’t been able to go rogue in peace. There’s Admiral Tarkin tailing them. Overall, it was a solid premiere and pretty much gave fans everything which they wanted.

It’s not surprising to see so much positivity going around for Wrecker, Kanan, and Omega, as they were great parts of the episode. Also, Lee Bradley deserves all the praise for voicing a large chunk of the characters all by himself. A lot of people had reservations about The Bad Batch so the first episode being so great has helped assauge everyone’s fear and brought people onboard for the rest of the show. Thankfully we don’t have to wait a long time to get another episode.
