Ahsoka Tano is a character who is getting explored in more detail in the recent slate of Disney+ Star Wars releases. She made her live-action debut in season 2 of The Mandalorian and recently showedup in the Tales of the Jedi animated series. But do you know that she’s in the Andor series too? Here’s how.

How Is Ahsoka In The Star Wars Andor Show?

In the Andor series we see Luthen listening in on rebel communications. And the person he is listening to is, technically, Ahsoka Tano. It’s a detail that you might have missed. Let us explain why it’s Ahsoka.

When Ahsoka decided to join the rebel fight, she contacted Bail Organa. During operations, she noticed that things would go smoother if Bail’s groups had better communication channels.

During that timeline, the rebel groups had just started organizing, so they didn’t have anyone operating their intelligence channels. Ahsoka stepped in and developed a network that would listen to people, find out what they require, and then help them get it.

When Bail asked what her name should be, she chose Fulcrum. So she was the go-to between rebel cells, and they communicated through her. And so she is the one who is probably on the call with Luthen.

Why Did Ahsoka Choose The Name Fulcrum?

In the Ahsoka book by E.K Johnson, it’s stated that Ahsoka chose Fulcrum as her codename because she saw Alderaan. She thought that it was the very centre or Fulcrum of the uprising. However, the seventh season of Clone Wars revealed the reasoning behind the name to be different.

In the show, it was revealed that Ahsoka was inspired to use the name Fulcrum after seeing one of Anakin’s secure communication channels. So this was her way of remembering her flawed master. Over time, the fulcrum name was used by other rebel operatives like Kallus and Cassian Andor himself.

Ahsoka is an interesting character and we hope to see her actually cameo in Andor. If she does, it will be the second series Rosario Dawson will she step in as the character, before her own samurai show premieres. However, even if Ahsoka doesn’t physically show up, there are a lot of cameos and hints at other characters that will keep fans entertained.

Do you think we will see Cassian use the Fulcrum codename? Or maybe Luthen will use it? Share your thoughts on this, and stay tuned for more news.
