Mandalorian fans should be glad that their MandoVerse is expanding. After all, Bo-Katan is now getting her solo Disney+ series.

The Hashtag Show reports that Katee Sackhoff will return as Bo-Katan Kryze. Star Wars fans know that this isn’t Sackhoff’s first rodeo in the Star Wars universe.

She previously voiced the same character she portrays in live-action in Star Wars animated shows like Rebels and The Clone Wars. It is after this performance that she was asked to portray the role in season 2 of The Mandalorian.

Now it looks like Lucasfilm is really planning to develop a Disney+ series based on Bo-Katan. It will star Sackhoff as the famous Star Wars character.

As per That Hashtag Show’s report, the planned Bo-Katan solo series will take place after season 3 of The Mandalorian. The show will also reportedly have some flashbacks, as we saw in The Book of Boba Fett.

Previously, there were rumors that Bo-Katan was going to feature on the now-canceled Rangers of the New Republic show. Here’s a little snippet from the report by That Hashtag Show:

“Interestingly, my sources did divulge that Bo-Katan was set to feature prominently in Rangers of the New Republic. That show was silently cancelled after comments were made by star Gina Carano, among other issues. So some of these story elements and characters may be carried over to the Bo-Katan series.”

Now, a show based on Bo-Katan Kryze might make some raise their eyebrows. In fact, many have deemed this report to be just a fan rumor based on fan wishes.

But the one thing that backs up this report is the now-deleted tweet from fellow Star Wars actor Ming-Na Wen. She plays Fennec Shand in The Book of Boba Fett as well as The Mandalorian.

She congratulated Sackhoff through a tweet when the series was greenlit. Now, she might not have any insider knowledge about this and may just have congratulated her after seeing a report of it.

But later on, people at Disney or Lucasfilm might have clarified things for her and asked her to take down her post. Or maybe she wasn’t supposed to reveal the news this soon.

So is there any truth to the news? There might be. Some insiders report that Lucasfilm and Sackhoff have been talking about a live-action Bo-Katan show.

However, there’s no way to confirm if the show has been officially greenlit or not. That is something we have to wait and watch. But if this news turns out to be true, it’s going to be huge.

After all, many fans have theorized that Bo-Katan will play a major role in season 3 of The Mandalorian because she too is after the Darksaber. Some say that there’s an ancient artifact that will allow both her and Din to rule over Mandalore.

Now, it remains to be seen what Lucasfilm is planning for the future of the MandoVerse. But for now, check out the season finale of The Book of Boba Fett this Wednesday on Disney+.
